Cambodia 2014: Khmer Food and Ta Keo Temple

August 11, 2014. After Angkor Thom it's time to eat LUNCH! :D So our guide took us to Khmer Wooden House Restaurant. I love it here because it has a chill vibe atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is located in front of Sras Srang lake- a name which means royal bathing pond. My post today is about our lunch and Ta keo Temple.

The husband posing in front of the restaurant. :D
Khmer food #1: it's like Vietnamese roll. Next time I will write down what I eat! :))

Ta Keo Temple is like a Cambodian pyramid!!!

Ta Keo temple is one of the tallest temple in Angkor. The temple was left unfinished due to a lightning strike during its construction which was considered as a bad omen. It has very steep stairs  so we decided not to climb because we just ate lunch :D
