Tokyo, Japan Day 1

March 7, 2015. Our first day in Tokyo, Japan. :D Here's our Itinerary for the whole day:
*✽ Haneda Airport
*✽ Keio Plaza Hotel
*✽ Shinjuku
*✽ Shinjuku Gyoen Park
*✽ Takashimaya Times Square
*✽ Southern Terrace
*✽ Tokyo Metropolitan Building
*✽ Shibuya

Hello, Mr. Westerner! :))

We went to the JAL ABC Counter at Haneda Airport to pickup our pocket wifi.

Inside the Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport)

Queue for bus tickets going to our hotel

We were looking for the "Welcome to Japan" sign but I think that one is located at Narita airport :)) So Sakura tree for our "touchdown" photo. :D

Bought our Suica Card here. A MUST buy because you need this to get around Tokyo!

Suica IC cards are essential for conventional travel in Japan. Just hold one over a sensor at a gate, wait for a beep and get on your train.
Waiting for the airport limousine bus going to Keio Plaza Hotel

The limousine has toilet wala lang :))

Unboxing our pocket wifi from globaladvancedcomm.

You can get free WiFi in Tokyo by getting either the Japan Connected Free WiFi App or the Travel Japan WiFi App (be sure to download and register before going to Japan) And if you are traveling via Japan Airlines, they will provide you with a special code to use with the Travel Japan WiFi App to access even more WiFi hotspots.

However, we decided that we don't want to hunt for WiFi hotspots thus we rented a pocket WiFi from Global Advanced Communications. There's a lot of positive reviews from this company and we find their rate quite reasonable. You can now add us to those that gives a positive review to this company.

We arranged to pickup the pocket WiFi at Haneda Airport but you can also have it delivered to your hotel if you want to. The device comes pre-charged so you can use it right away. Speed and signal strength is good even in the subway trains.

No hunting for free WiFi hotspots.

KEIO PLAZA HOTEL. Here we come! Check-in time is 2pm so we checked-in our baggage first then headed outside to eat. They have a hello kitty room :D but it's not the room we booked.

But first we enter @ Lawson conbini store to buy gloves and tissue! Because of our freezing hands! :))

We ate our lunch here @ Sangokuichi! Just across our hotel. AND IT'S SO YUMMEH!

SHINJUKU. After eating we explored Shinjuku. Japan's greatest entertainment district where tall buildings are lined up next to each other along with plenty of  new hot spots.
